The latest issue of PopBitch indicates that Ashton Kutcher has been approached to play Tommy Lee in the movie based on Motley Crue's memoirs, "The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band". The band sold the rights to the film to Paramount back in 2002 where its been in development, and bassist Nikki Sixx had previously stated that his early favorite to play him in the movie was "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville. If true, the idea of Kutcher in the role is a bit of a stretch...

The IMDb reports that John Malkovich has landed a starring role in the next Harry Potter movie, playing evil Lord Voldemort. Malkovich's two daughters convinced him to appear in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" which just began shooting. Trouble is he will have to share the part with a computerised puppet - at the beginning of the film, the wizard is supposed to be so wasted by his own evil he is barely a skeleton

Well, it's official. After all the rumors, Wal Mart flyers, and industry speak, Microsoft has OFFICIALLY announced that as of tomorrow, March 30th, 2004, the X-Box will be selling for $149.99 in the US. This cuts the price down $30 from its previous selling price of $179.99. Similar cuts have also been announced for the surrounding terriroties. The system will now retail for $199.99 in Canada, and for 1,999 pesos in Mexico.

EGM has reported the obvious. LucasArts is developing Star Wars: Knight of the Old Republic 2 for Xbox, the sequel of the popular Star Wars RPG. Great news. In a somewhat surprising story, Nintendo has decided NOT to include the "Tetra's Trackers" game on the upcoming The Legend Of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure in America. Instead, the game will only have two modes of play: a cooperative mode for 2-4 players, and a 4-player battle mode. "Tetra's Trackers" is a scavenger hunt type game which has all four players racing through a maze and stealing treasure from pirates. Those with the most valuable collection win. Microsoft Game Studios has announced that award winning musician Danny Elfman is composing the soundtrack to it's upcoming title Fable. Some of the movies Elfman has composed include Chicago, Batman, Spider-Man, Men In Black, The Nightmare Before Christmas and Beetlejuice. The highly anticipated RPG Fable is set to release this summer, exclusively on the Xbox.

The new game will appear on the GameCube in place of the "Wrestlemania" brand games, and be called: WWE Day of Reckoning.
