LOTR: Return of the King (DVD): Peter Jackson confirmed on Friday to the IESB that the 'extended cut' will be 250 mins, exactly 50 mins longer than the theatrical version. No date is yet set, but the 'regular' edition will hit sooner - around May or June according to USA Today.

Robert Rodriguez's Troublemaker Studios is rumoured to be working on a film adaptation of Frank Miller's comic which Robert himself might direct. Rumors have been circulating that Warner Bros. may split up Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire into two films, due to the size of the book. Not so, Mike Newell tells Empire magazine. Pixar today said that it is ending its discussions with The Walt Disney Company to extend their existing five-picture deal, and will begin discussions with other studios to distribute its films beginning in 2006. Yesterday FilmForce published an exclusive report stating that producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura is turning Hasbro's G.I. JOE toy franchise into a live-action movie.
