Pixar today said that it is ending its discussions with The Walt Disney Company to extend their existing five-picture deal, and will begin discussions with other studios to distribute its films beginning in 2006. Yesterday FilmForce published an exclusive report stating that producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura is turning Hasbro's G.I. JOE toy franchise into a live-action movie. Sony Pictures have confirmed their plans to make SpiderMan 3, even though SpiderMan 2 is not out until July.
